The Spiritual Benefits of Visualization

There are many benefits of visualization. I even talked about some of them in the visualization exercises article and in the visualization tips article that I wrote.

In this article, I want to share with you two main spiritual benefits of visualization that can really super-charge your awareness and connection with your higher power. Also, these spiritual benefits will bring your intentions into physical form easier and faster.

We live in a material, three dimensional world. We have a physical body and senses that relay our physical experiences to us.

However, if the law of opposites holds true, then our physical world could not exist without a spiritual world.

In fact, I'm here to tell you that we are part of two worlds simultaneously---a physical world and a spiritual world.

We all know about the physical world. I mean, we operate in it everyday and our 5 senses are bombarded every second of the day. What most of us do not know is how to operate in our spiritual world.

The spiritual world is just as important, if not more, than the third dimensional physical world that we perceive. A lot of the self improvement gurus talk about how the benefits of visualization bring you the things you desire in life.

Although this is true, I'm starting to believe that their focus is being misplaced. Most of us are taught to use positive visualization tools such as vision boards, affirmations, and motion picture visualizing so we can manifest our deepest desires into material form.

I think these practices are very noble and deserving to do and I practice visualization every day. However, after learning from my great mentors, I've learned that there are spiritual benefits of visualization that far out weigh their counterpart physical benefits.

The spiritual benefits of visualization are like the physical benefits of visualization (they produce physical results), however, their purpose is different.

The first benefit is using visualization as a way to connect with your higher power. The second spiritual benefit of visualization is “knowingness”

Both of these practiced together heighten your awareness and connection with your higher power; it taps into the core essence and meaning of your being. Also, as an added benefit, practicing the spiritual benefits of visualization speeds up the process of manifesting your deepest desires.

Connecting with Your Higher Power

When you visualize, and if done correctly (creative visualization), you are actually opening the door to connect with your higher power.

Understand that your source of creation comes from the spiritual world. Everything you see in this physical Universe is spirit manifested into physical form. The clothes you wear, cars, houses, rugs, jewelry, and even money are spiritual.

Everything first comes from the world of the unseen and then is created into physical form. The unseen world is the world of thought and imagination.

When you visualize, you tap into the unseen world and call upon God to attract what you desire in life. When you take on the view point of visualizing to manifest an aspect of God through you, then you get to truly know who and what your Divine power is like.

I recently shifted my purpose for visualizing my intentions into physical form. Instead of using visualization as a technique to manifest only the physical, I've added a new intention into my visualization process.

Now, I silently say to myself “I intend connecting with God and I let him manifest all his goodness through me for the highest good of all.” What I am doing is becoming a co-creator for my life and for the highest good of all.

We are all working with the same source. Each of us is infinitely connected and the sooner we realize that the sooner we become free and at peace. Since we are all connected, when someone gains, we all gain. When someone loses, we all lose on some level.

This is why when you hold the intention to visualize and manifest for the highest good of all------we all gain.

I've dropped the idea of manifesting things for purely physical reasons. I have purpose behind my visualization and that purpose is to co-create God's desire in and through me. Sure! I still want to have a nice car, fancy home, and earn money. But now, I want those things because I understand that God wants that goodness for everyone. I understand that me wanting a nice car, fancy home, cool clothes, more money, and a bigger business will help others get what they want. We all gain.

“Knowingness”

“Knowingness” means what it says---you know. We are talking about forming a trust with your higher power. You must trust that God does provide all that you want. The reason you don't get what you want is because you don't trust in the “knowingness”, which means you don't trust in God.

Economies fail, banks fail, stocks fail, and real estate fails. Why? Because they are purely physical. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience, we don't fail.

If you keep attracting failure into your life it's because you have a lack of trust in God. You're putting your faith and hope upon the physical world, which is subject to failure and always does.

However, when you believe we're all connected and everything manifest comes from the unseen spiritual world, then you trust in God and the result is “knowingness”. When you “know” there is no more failure, lack, and disasters.

There are still going to be valleys and peaks in your life, that's just the price of living in a physical Universe. However, instead of viewing the valleys as something bad or wrong with your life, you see your negative situations as your teachers to help grow into a bigger and more conscious person.

In order to have that view point, you must trust in God and know that whatever images you give must manifest in your life. Spirit does not know lack, it only knows understanding. Spirit (which is God) understands that we are co-creators and whatever image we give it, spirit helps us attract those images. Good or bad, spirit understands and attracts that into your life.

Place your trust in your higher power. When you do so, you'll be living from a place of “knowingness” and there will never be any lack in life again. How could there be? You are turning over your intentions to God and letting God work in and through you.

Living in a state of “knowingness” also means living in a state of expectation. Instead of visualizing and hoping that you'll manifest your image, visualize from a state of expectation. This means whatever you can visualize and imagine, you already have it. It's just a matter of time before your image shows up in reality.

I hope this article really enlightened you. I know this was a real breakthrough for me. I'm actually more at peace and I just know that everything I intend is happening, even though I can't see it.

If you really want to become a master at manifesting your life, then continually read, understand, and practice these two spiritual benefits of visualization. The key to both of these benefits of visualization is to understand that everything you want is already here. You just have to align your energies with your higher power to attract what you desire.

The way to access your higher power is through visualization. Visualize with the intent of being a co-creator with God. Know that what you want is going to helps others gain, too.

Know and expect all of your intentions to manifest. Have a trust in your higher power and know that whatever images you turn over to spirit it must duplicate that image into physical form.

The source of all comes from spirit. You don't have to create anything. All you have to do is connect with God and attract the goodness that is already here. The spiritual benefits of visualization will help you connect with God and attract all that you want.
